This roadmap and implementation plan was formally endorsed at the SET-PLAN conference in Madrid on 3rd of June 2010.
The EEGI is one of the European Industrial Initiatives under the Strategic Energy Technologies Plan (SET-PLAN) and proposes a 9-year European research, development and demonstration (RD&D) programme to accelerate innovation and the development of the electricity networks of the future in Europe. The programme focuses on system innovation rather than on technology innovation, and addresses the challenge of integrating new technologies under real life working conditions and validating the results. All interested parties are invited to provide comments to the paper (EEGI Roadmap and Implementation Plan 2010-12). Any comments should be received by 31 January 2011 and should be sent by email to [email protected] . The responses received will provide the basis for the updating of the document.

Following the public consultation period, all comments received from stakeholders will be published in the ETP SmartGrids website. If a respondent would like to treat their contribution with confidentiality then this must be explicitly mentioned in their submission.
