Tendril, Lockheed Martin Collaborating On Demand-Response Solutions

 

Tendril and Lockheed Martin say they are working together to integrate Lockheed Martin's SEEload demand-response solution with Tendril's energy-management technology to provide utilities with a demand-side management platform. The SEEsuite is designed to give utilities and system operators insight into enterprise operations and control of their smart grid assets, Lockheed Martin says. The suite's applications include SEEload for demand-response management, as well as SEEgrid for situational awareness and integrated resource management. Tendril's platform leverages products and applications that communicate directly with a utility’s existing infrastructure to give consumers energy-management information. "The integration of Tendril's residential energy management system with SEEload makes it easier and quicker for utilities to deploy standards-based demand-response solutions across their entire customer base and service territory," says Lockheed Martin's Larry Easton.
